Lancet Palestinian Medical Conference Good for Anti-Israel Propaganda

It is too late to submit your abstracts for consideration for inclusion in the Eleventh Annual Lancet Palestinian Health Alliance (LPHA) Conference but you can mark the date to be sure to attend: 3-4 November 2020 at Birzeit University in the Palestinian Authority (PA). The webpage claims that:
The LPHA comprises a collaboration of Palestinian, regional and international researchers, committed to the highest scientific standards in describing, analyzing and evaluating the health and health care of Palestinians, in order to contribute to the international scientific literature and to develop local evidence-based policy and practices. Activities include: developing measurement and other scientific methods that are culture-specific; increasing capacity for research; encouraging advocacy based on science; and promoting academic collaboration within the occupied Palestinian Territory, across the region, and the globe. [emphasis added]
In a moment we will examine whether or not the most recently published abstracts from one of these conference corresponds to the highest scientific standards and contributes to the medical literature. What it most certainly does is encourage "advocacy" (aka propaganda) based on "science" and it promotes academic collaboration with anyone except Israelis. This latter in spite of the fact that many doctors in the PA receive specialist training in Israeli hospitals (see here and here, for example). Perhaps Lancet would do an article on these projects one day. most medically oriented non-propaganda deal with health management, public awareness and knowledge, improved clinical treatments and such.
