unchallenged - jews look for arabs to attack

According to the news and social media, whether Israeli or foreign, anti-Israel or even pro-Israeli, it seems that Jews living in Judea & Samara (J&S) just go out and look for Arabs to harass and vandalize on a daily basis. Left unchallenged, this is what people are led to believe. Left unchallenged, the Simchat Torah violence in the South Hebron Hills (28 October 2021) is going to be engraved in memory as a Jewish pogrom committed against their Arab neighbours. The multitude of articles, tweets, and even Israeli radio and TV reports seem to have accepted the B'Tselem narrative and even to embellish upon it, making claims B'Tselem did not make, at least not at first. The Facebook post below seems to capture the most vicious story told, claiming that Israeli soldiers joined in the attack against the hapless Arabs in the al-Mufaqara outpost that is situated between two Jewish settlements, Havat Maon and Avigayil. And not only did the brutish Jews take out their rage against the Arabs but also against their sheep. Disturbed by even the milder version of the story that I heard immediately after the event, I sought contact with someone in the area who could shed more light on what happened. I reached out to B'Tselem's I went to Avigayil and Havat Maon, speaking to two representatives of each community. And then I spoke at length with the spokeswoman for the South Hebron Hills Regional Council. At this point, the story is very much like a rape accusation without forensic evidence (he said/she said -- in this case: the Jews said/the Arabs said).   aaa aaa
